The Bouqs. Sustainably Farmed.
*Disclaimer: I was provided with one floral bouquet from www.thebouqs.com in exchange for my review. All opinions are my own.
If you follow me on Instagram you know that flowers are one of my absolute favorite things. I long for spring in New Hampshire when I can work my hands in the dirt and get my gardens in shape. I await the first signs of my flowers emerging from the dirt and adore the moment when the flowers burst into color. The colors overflowing in my yard during the spring and summer allow me to forget the dark cold, gloomy days of winter.
I am a Bouq’aneer!
I am ecstatic to have been invited to join The Bouqs. Company Ambassador Program (I am a Bouq’aneer!) to share their amazing flowers with you and anyone who could use a bright floral pick-me-up. The Bouqs CO. uses ecologically-minded practices to bring you gorgeous “Bouqs” from farms located on a Volcano in Ecuador as well as California. This company is unique as well because they do not waste flowers, cutting them fresh on the day you order.
Here’s how it works:
“We cut on the day you order and deliver straight from the farm so you get the freshest bouq possible! This means delivery just 2-4 days after cut, vs 10-14 elsewhere. We deliver our Volcano stems from the equator, 10,000 feet above sea level, which means one thing: sun. And more sun means more color. These Bouqs are fed by pure volcanic snow melt and mineral-rich, ph-balanced soil. And our California cut flowers come straight from eco-friendly farms on the coast!”
The Bouqs offers several different subscription services,”Regular Blooms, Never Forget, and Just Because” which allow you to schedule for loves ones birthdays, regular arrival of The Bouqs, or flowers that arrived at four or more random times throughout the year,”Just Because.” (hint, hint Organic Runner Dad and any loved ones out there!) Scheduling delivery is easy and there is even an online concierge service.
My Bouq–”Dawn,” sunrise orange roses.
I was given a chance to try out The Bouqs by ordering my first bouquet free of charge. The Bouqs come with fun names such as, “Peace, Lush-Us, and Ladybug,” each reflecting the personality of The Bouq, its colors, and its blooms. I decided to select The Bouq named, “Dawn,” orange premium roses with colors like the sun at dawn. The Bouq that I ordered arrived in the timeline outlined and was delivered right to my doorstep by FED-EX. My package did require a signature which I missed the first day but thankfully they left a signature card to allow delivery the next day. I was delighted to open the package which revealed gorgeous orange roses. My kids (ages 5 and 3) loved smelling the sweet roses and were excited to see flowers that we don’t have growing in our backyard gardens. The roses were carefully packaged in brown paper and were fresh in appearance. There was a note on the inside of the box telling a little bit about the flowers and who they were from (this time just ME!) The blooms have opened up since I placed them in a pitcher of water earlier and brightened my kitchen on a rainy day!
I hope you will take some time to check out The Bouqs to find out more about this wonderful online floral service.
