Best Summer Swimsuit Picks from Organic Runner Mom

Summer may be half over but there is still time to nab some sweet summer swimsuits for beach, pool and lake time. I picked these suits because not only are they flattering but they are functional too. You can wear them for all of your fun water sports activities and with your kids. I am a two-piece, bikini type of girl so I’d love to hear some of your suggestions for favorite one-piece swimwear.

Here are some of my favorites that you might like too!
Namaka Bikini Top and Impossible Bikini Bottom in Confetti Leaf from Title NINE. This bathing suit just hit the Title NINE site and I immediately fell in love. I am currently in love with the halter style bikini tops because not only are they cute and flattering they are also functional for the active lifestyle. This style is perfect for swimming laps, paddleboarding, kayaking, playing with your kids, and lounging with your favorite book by the pool. The pattern is playful featuring leaves and polka dots, a wildly fun combination. (Retail-Top $65, Bottom $49)

PRANA Lahari Halter Bikini Top and Ramba Full Coverage Bikini Bottom This bikini is great because the bottom is full coverage and the halter top stays very secure which means that you can be active in this suit too! This suit comes in a range of prints and solid colors. I have had this suit in several different colors and were it when I am with my kids at our family lake house where we swim and dive, paddleboard, kayak, fish and more. (Retail-Top $55, Bottom $50)

CARVE DESIGNS Sanitas Reversible Top and Sanitas Reversible Bottom This fun suit is reversible and comes in a full range of patterns and colors. The top is very functional with a high neck and a racer type back. I have worn this suit for all types of activities including Surfing in Costa Rica!(Retail-Top $56 , Bottom $56)

Skirt Sports High Dive Tankini Top and High Dive Swim Bottom I first tried the High Dive Tankini Top and Bottom in Costa Rica when I was surfing. This suit is comfy with a high neck and adjustable cross strap back. It performed well out in the surf and is also perfect for swimming laps, paddleboarding, and playing with your kids. This suit offers more full coverage. (Retail-Top $75, Bottom $49

Mine are pretty basic – always a tankini with a skirt. I mix and match them and buy from target or Pennys
Mind you, I do not do Tris and I wear my suits often in the summer so they wear out..

Isn’t it cute!
I really like the Athleta tops bc they have more of a bra like fit on top and I need the extra support there.

Super cute picks!
I tend to wear board shorts with a bikini top and rash guard so I can run around more with the kids, but sometimes, a cuter option is what’s needed.
I haven’t purchased a bathing suit in years but all of these options are super cute!

These all are cute! I also like the halter-style tops. It’s been a few years since I’ve splurged on a suit…I’ve three (I think?) that are all still in great condition (but I’m not super active in them…
Gorgeous picks!
I do love a halter neck when I wear a bikini, but I love a tankini too when I feel like covering up a little bit more. Can’t wait to go for a swim in the sea this summer! 🙂

I have an Athleta suit I love. For better of worse, since I only wear it a few times a year it has lasted a while.
