* Disclaimer: I was given a pair of Spandits! in exchange for my review. All opinions are my own.
You probably remember reading about all of the fun that was had at the first annual Rise. Run. Retreat. from myself and the other awesome bloggers who attended. As a part of this inspiring weekend we received a wonderful L.L. Bean Tote filled with goodies from the amazing retreat sponsors. Many of the sponsors were New England sponsors which included SPANDITS! a Maine company by two women who are also moms, running coaches and marathoners themselves. I always love to support companies where women are the brains behind the inspiration! These two moms have created a company with fun colorful running tights capris and more perfect for every runner.
Before the retreat we were asked to select our style and print. I chose the 3/4 length tight in The Make a Wish print. If you know me you know I love big bold patterns and this pattern certainly makes a statement. I absolutely love this print and the rich jewel tones. I only wish I had these in a full length tight too because as the weather gets cold in New Hampshire I will only be able to wear these pretty tights indoors for a little while (we even had a little snow this weekend!).
These tights have a 21 inch inseam which is a great length for me as I have super long string bean legs. The spandex material that is used is environmentally friendly and they recycle all scraps of fabric. I love that the owners inspect each piece before it leaves their shop. you can tell that each piece was made with care. The spandex that they use is of high quality so there is no trouble with it being see-through. No one wants to have an oops moment while at a race or at a yoga class. The waistband is comfortable and is mid-rise. There is also a little pocket in the front to hold a key or a running gel although I might like for the pocket to be a little larger or perhaps in the back.
To find out more about Spandits! and to check out there great selection for every runner head on over to their website or read what some of the other bloggers have to say about the Spandits! that they received. You will love seeing all of the great patterns and may want to select something for your next run!
