Thermoball Jacket from The North Face Review & Giveaway
The North Face Women’s ThermoBall™ Hybrid Jacket Review
Winter running in New Hampshire requires the ability to do smart layering when dressing to head outdoors. The North Face recently developed their ThermoBall™ powered by PrimaLoft® jackets to provide athletes and outdoor enthusiasts with the perfect technical layer for exploring the great outdoors. ThermoBall™ is ultralight which means it packs easily and can be stuffed away in a pack on a run or a hike. This jacket is made with “small round synthetic fiber clusters that mimic down.” You will stay warm even when wet which is makes a great layer for a drizzly day, or training in the snow or just when you sweat.
The North Face Locals Ambassador program recently sent me the Women’s ThermoBall™ Hybrid Jacket to try out during my winter training. i was excited to discover this beautiful jacket that I knew would instantly become one of my favorite jackets for running this winter. The peacock green color is one of my favorites. I love the comfort of the stretch material combined with the ThermoBall™ because it moves with my body when I run. This jacket fits close to the body and will move with you as you run, ski, hike, climb, bike and explore.
This jacket has stretch panels that run along the side of your body and along the underside of your arms. They also have stretch panels built into the shoulders. These panels make this jacket fit close to the body which is not only flattering but provides ease of movement when you are active.
This Women’s The North Face Hybrid Jacket is a full zip jacket. It has two external pockets which are big enough to carry a phone, to store your ID, or gloves or other smaller items. I wear this jacket as an outer layer for milder winter days but also love it underneath a waterproof shell for rainy or colder days. This jacket will definitely be a staple this winter as I layer like an onion!
