#Sponsored KIND Snacks Review and Giveaway

I have always had a fast metabolism which means that when I am training for a marathon my stomach is always growling and I am always on the verge of going from happy to “hangry” (hungry+angry+hangry).  When hunger sets in  my blood sugar level plummets, I start feeling weak, I might get a little shaky and I become quiet.  Fueling my body properly during marathon training is totally necessary for  #kindawesome race day and training performance.

Recently I was contacted by KIND Snacks to try some of their new flavors of KIND Bars, KIND Healthy Grain Clusters, and KIND Healthy Grains Bars.

When I opened the box from KIND, I was greeted with tempting  KIND Bar flavors such as Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate + Protein, Dark Chocolate Chili Almond, and Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt. A KIND Bar to suit any mood! There were also two bags of Healthy Grains Clusters–Cinnamon Oat Clusters and Vanilla Blueberry Clusters with Flax Seeds which my kids and I quickly devoured (and I’ve been back to the store for many more bags since!). Lastly the box had one of my new favorite snacks KIND Healthy Grains Bars–Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate and Dark Chocolate Chunk are two of my favorites!

According to Erin from KIND Snacks,”each flavor contains 19-22g of 100% whole grains helping consumer meet their 1/3 daily recommended value of whole grains.  To add, like all KIND products, these new granola bars are gluten free, nutritionally dense (unlike most granola bars!) and are perfect paired with a banana or greek yogurt pre-run.

I really like the new KIND Healthy Grains bars  and they contain great ingredients–Oats, Quinoa, Millet, Amaranth, and Buckwheat.  They are loaded with flavor and fill you up but aren’t heavy to eat.  I love to grab KIND snacks when I am on the go and often throw  them into my hydration pack for my long runs.

  1. My favorite Kind snacks are definitely the nut and spice bars, especially because they’re fairly low in sugar. The Healthy Grains snack bars look amaaazing though!

  2. I LOVE Kind bars! I’m on my third box, ans so far my favorite is the Oats & Honey granola bar with coconut (you can actually taste the coconut!).
