Hydration for runners with Fitletic and a Giveaway
Fitletic Hydration

Fitletic
The task of staying adequately hydrated when you run can be a complicated task unless you have the right gear. During my years as a runner I have tried several different methods for carrying hydration with some systems being more comfortable and successful than others. I was excited when Fitletic asked me to try their Hydra 16 oz. I don’t carry water on shorter runs and for long distance running I like to carry a hydration pack but I have needed something for those middle distance runs where it is nice to have a little something to drink on your run. I tend to sweat a ton when I run so hydration is extra important for having a good run.

On the run
The Fitletic Hydra 16 oz is one of the most comfortable hydration belts that I have worn. It is worn low on your hips and has silicone grippers on the inside of the belt to ensure that it stays in place and does not migrate or slide as you run. I love the fact that the belt stayed in place because this is a good indicator that this will not cause chafing. The belt fastens with a simple clip and has two 8 ounce fluid containers perfect for carrying one filled with water and one filled with your favorite sports drink (for me it’s always Skratch Labs!). The belt also has energy gel loops to carry any needed fuel and a great water resistant neoprene pouch perfect for carrying your phone, cash, key and/or I.D.
Features of the Fitletic Hydra Hydration Belt:

Features
- Dura Comfort Technology
- Silicone Grippers
- Water Resistent Neoprene pocket
- Interior Pocket for Cash/I.D.
- Quick Draw Holsters and two 8 oz. bottles
- 2 energy gel loops
- Reflectors for visibility
- Race bib toggles.

This looks like a great product! I’m one who needs to stay constantly hydrated.
Yay! I hope you don’t mind! I added your giveaway to our link up! http://www.runningwithsdmom.com/2016/02/wednesday-giveaway-roundup_23.html

I think 10 miles is the perfect run. It’s short enough to still be able to run it fast, and long enough to get those endorphin’s going.
Loving the skirt can’t wait to get mine! Great giveaway

Great giveaway! Running belts are awesome and since I hate running without my water, this looks perfect.
I’ve always ran with a Nathan’s belt but I like how sleek this one looks. And of course that it has purple. Great giveaway!
I love racing 26.2 but my runs are 10-15.
I really love half marathons…you can still go fast and it’s not as hard to recover from as the whole 26.2
My fave distance to run right now is 6-8 miles. My fave distance to race is 10 miles.

I think I would love this for “shorter” runs – the ones that the vest isn’t quite needed!
This looks awesome! Right now, I have a Camelbak, but I don’t need that much water for shorter runs. This would be perfect.

I like running 5ks during the week, but my favorite race distance to train for is a half marathon.

Love this giveaway! I have been trying to figure out what to wear on my longer runs. Something mid-range (10-13) seems ideal for me.
I spy some Wave Catalysts!!!! Love them!!!
This is a great belt. I don’t like carrying water on my waist, but I like how the bottles are small and angled.

looks like a great belt. But I do like to carry a handheld–I sip my fuel as I go!

I ditched my last fuel belt because it always was spinning around — the silicon grippers sound like they’d solve that problem.
I love running 10ks! They’re the perfect distance for me because I can enjoy the distance without feeling too tired out!
I’m not typically a fan of something around my waist, but I’ve heard great things about the Fitletic one!!

I’ve only started running soooooo, I only do about 5 or 6 miles.
but I’m trying! 🙂
I love the 13.1 distance. I have been experimenting with fuel on the run (well, I was last fall-when I actually was running longer distances than six miles). I have yet to find an ideal way to carry water…I don’t like the weight in my hand, and it annoys me on my hips (in a belt), too. I usually just loop back to my house on training runs and utilize the water stations while racing.

This looks really great! I haven’t run with a hydration belt, but I have been thinking I need something for the 20 mile runs. 🙂

Cute belt! I usually run with a handheld for those middle distance runs. I’ve carried one for so many runs that I feel weird without it now.

I am a big fan of the 15k!
My favorite distance to run is probably 13 miles+, a distance that’s somewhat challenging and feels like an accomplishment to complete for me. Nice giveaway!

My favorite distance is 5k’s. Long enough to feel it, not too long that I can’t sneak one in when I’m busy
Sad that I missed this, but may check it out on my own for my 3-day/60 mile breast cancer walk!
