Now that you’ve eaten all the turkey, the holiday music is blaring on the radio and sappy holiday movies can be found on tv. This means one thing! It’s time to think about what to get that triathlon sweetie on your list. I will be heading into my third year racing triathlons and so have started to find some of my favorite items for the swim the bike, the bike and the run. Here are my picks for this years holiday gift guide for triathletes for the swim!

The fēnix 3 tracks your distance, pace, stroke count and more and you can set it to track laps for the distance of the pool that you are training in. You can set it to track open water swimming as well. The distance tracking is very accurate too (Check out this great review from DC Rainmaker). You can purchase one that monitors heart rate or you can use a heart rate strap. The Garmin fēnix 3 also has Multisport mode which means that it will transition from one sport to the next when you press the lap button. This is awesome for training and racing as you will be able to look at each part of your training or race in single segments when you are finished! This watch has many other fantastic features as well . . .

I’m not a triathlete but I’m trying to get into more cycling to help with my running. I’m hoping for a good pair of cycling shorts so I can be a little more comfortable.
