Ginger Berry Smoothie Recipe

Ginger Berry Smoothie
It’s been awhile since I have shared a recipe so I’m going to bring recipes back to the blog with a simple smoothie recipe. The last time I made a smoothie I was at my moms house and we snuck spinach in. the color of the smoothie gave it away. My Dad was not impressed as he does not like spinach but there is nothing better than packing in fruits and veggies to get lots of vitamins and minerals when you make a smoothie.
This time my “secret” ingredient which I snuck in without the kids knowing was Better Body Foods LIVfit Superfood Organic Superfood blend. This superfood blend is packed full of nutrients. The antioxidants, fiber, and protein in this blend come from pea, hemp, chia, quinoa, cranberries, cherries, blueberries, spinach, broccoli, beets, shiitake mushrooms, and green tea extract. There are no added sugars, colors, flavors, or sweeteners. This is a great addition to any smoothie and the flavor of the powder blended right in with my other ingredients.
This smoothie is a basic blend of banana, berries, honey, ice and milk. To enhance it I added 2 scoops of LIVfit Superfood Organic Superfood Blend and some grated ginger which gives it a refreshing kick.

Delicious smoothie ingredients
What is your favorite kind of smoothie?

My faves are chocolate strawberry and orange pineapple vanilla.
Funny timing: my daughter hasn’t wanted smoothies in months and this morning she asked for a “plain strawberry smoothie”. As in don’t add protein powder or any funky anything, old school berries, yogurt, and milk.
I think sometimes we forget how good the basics can be 😉
I really want to try Ginger Berry Smoothie, especially it has great benefits to our body. Thanks for sharing.
Looks like I need to try this one 🙂 Livfit doesn’t seem to sell in my country. I’ll just add another superfood blend to the smoothie and see how it’ll work out.
