EcoFashion: WAMA Hemp Underwear Review

Disclaimer: I received the underwear from WAMA for free. All opinions expressed here are my own.
It’s time to talk about your unmentionables. That’s right! Your underwear!
It’s time to start thinking about adding EcoFashion into your underwear drawer. Check out WAMA Underwear.
Hemp is everywhere these days and now you can find it in your underwear drawer. According to Good On You, hemp is a sustainable fabric because hemp requires little water to grow as compared to cotton and also requires smaller amounts of land to grow it.

Have you heard of WAMA underwear? WAMA underwear is made from a unique hemp fabric that is soft against your skin. Their fabric is a blend of 53% Hemp, 44% Organic Cotton and 3% Spandex. Unlike traditional cotton or synthetic underwear, hemp has naturally anti-bacterial, anti-odor properties. This hemp fabric blend is more breathable and this underwear is oh so comfortable!

WAMA underwear comes in several different styles for women: Hipsters, Bikinis, Thongs and Boy Shorts. I chose to try out the Hipsters and thongs. Both the hipsters and the thong have a nice elastic waste band so the underwear stays in place. I love the comfort of the hipsters. There is a thick seam around the leg holes so not as great if you are going for that seamless look in a pair of tighter fitting jeans. The Hemp fabric they are made from is super soft and actually gets softer as you wash them. All styles of women’s underwear retail for $20.
For men the styles are Boxers, Boxer Briefs, Trunks, and briefs and each retail for $24.
WAMA is a Vegan company and an official PETA Approved Vegan brand. This company works with factories that use fair wage practices and have quality working environments.
Overall I would rate WAMA Hemp Underwear as comfy and I love the sustainability efforts in their mission. These are definitely an every day kind of underwear. As a plus, the first time you order you can get 20% off!
Do you try to purchase EcoFashions? Have you ever tried any hemp clothing products? Which style of WAMA Hemp Underwear would you choose?

Interesting!! I have not heard of hemp clothing. Hemp really is everywhere:-)
Amazing how hemp has hit all types of industries to include clothing. What a versatile resource.
I do try to wear eco fashion when it’s practical, comfortable, and reasonably priced. I have some hemp items that gild up great, but I never thought about hemp underwear before reading your post!
I never thought of hemp underwear! The thick seams would really annoy me though. I tend towards boy shorts and thongs, but I like super thin and light fabrics.
I haven’t tried hemp underwear but I like companies that use sustainable fabric! I’ll have to check these out!
