COVID-19 At home Workout Guide
One week into our online learning adventures and so far so good. The kids are settling into their daily routines and actually quite self-motivated! I am impressed with how they are doing with this new normal and also at how organized their teachers have been with presenting them with their work and support. My kids are well versed in the use of technology perhaps more so than me. My daughter is using Google Classroom, Zoom and other applications on a daily basis and my son had a Zoom Meet-up with his class which he loved. When online learning is not happening we are spending time walking the dog, playing games, reading, trying out new baking projects and dinner recipes, and doing cleaning and organizing projects (Mari Kondo would approve).
Since I am a divorced mom and the kids are with me most of the time I am having to get creative with working out because I am not able to leave my house to go for a run. This means that workouts happen when the kids are having their free time in the afternoon. So far my workouts have consisted of treadmill runs, bike trainer rides (I had to dust her off lol!) and bodyweight exercises done in circuits.
Here are a few great resources for at home workouts to keep you from going crazy while we are all social distancing and staying at home because of the Coronavirus.
