I am super excited to try out Simple Healthy Meal Plans. What busy, active, health conscious mom wouldn’t be? I find I often get into a rut with my cooking especially in the winter. It will be great to have some new recipes to try and some new ingredients too. I think of myself as an adventurous eater and can’t wait to go to our local Littleton Coop to go on an ingredient hunt with my kids.  It will be wonderful to introduce my kids to some new foods too and they just love tasting new things.

I just received my first weekly meal plan to try which includes a weekly Healthy Tip (this weeks tip is about Apple Cider Vinegar). I was surprised to learn that you can actually mix Apple Cider Vinegar and Baking Soda to make a chemical free shampoo. On the menu this week some of the selections include, “Black Bean Mango Quinoa Salad” and, “Sweet Potato, Black Bean & Avocado Quesadillas.”

    1. This company was started by someone who grew up in the Philadelphia area like me. I have already received two weeks worth of recipes etc. and they are just wonderful! I think they are currently offering a free week trial. I hope you will check it out!
