PRracer Convertible HDL Kickstarter. Get ready to run!

Today PRracer is launching their Kickstarter for the new Convertible HDL a great option for headwear during the colder months for every run. If you are like me even when it is cold outside your temperature quickly rises when you start running. I often make the mistake of adding an extra layer before heading out for being to cold quickly regretting the decision 10 minutes in. This happens even when wearing a hat and then the question is what to do with it if you take it off. PRracer is launching their Kickstarter to crowdfund to bring the production the Convertible HDL. Think hat combined with a convertible. Essentially when you get too hot the skull cap retracts into the headband.

Not only does the Convertible HDL give you the option of having a hat and a headband with you on your run but it is also compatible with a High Definition Camera and headlamp. Now you will be able to light up your adventures and capture each moment when you are on the run. The camera is operable by voice recognition with simple commands, this allows you to run and capture adventures without the need to stop and fumble with buttons. It would be great to have a headlamp that easily snaps onto your headband and fun to have a camera along to capture moments on the trail and on the road!

  1. I cannot WAIT to get my hands on one of these this fall! My inner running/social media nerd is totally geeked to see what kind of pictures I can take!

  2. Seems perfect for those early morning or winter runs when it gets dark! I love the idea of having a camera to capture the trail views hands free!

  3. Well, isn’t that just super clever?! I;ve worn a headlamp during relays and when I used to run early or late . . . but now not “allowed” to run in the dark due to a nasty fall 2 years ago and then a mountain lion run in (he just stared at me from across the way) sighting a couple months ago. However, I think this would be super convenient for camping trips and such!

  4. I always use headlamps because most of my runs start way early in the morning. I’ve never used a camera but I want to! I would love to test this bad boy out someday!

  5. I have not run with a headlight or camera but I love this idea of both in one and it looks really effective. I would use it for my regular runs especially at dusk-dark.
