I’m going to be on a podcast!
I am on an emotional high, almost giddy! I just completed my first ever podcast interview for The Lifestyle Accountability Show, a daily podcast that focuses on the stories of people who have decided to make health and fitness a priority. I was recently contacted by Adam Bate, the creator of this podcast who recently made some big lifestyle changes including completing his first marathon. I am pretty excited that Adam discovered my blog and chose to feature me as I am hoping to inspire others to find their own personal motivation to reach their goals. Adam and his brother Devon interviewed me for about 30 minutes for topics ranging from how I got my start as an athlete to challenges that I am currently working through, to some of my favorite meals and workouts.
I was nervous before the interview but it was actually a lot of fun sharing my own personal journey. Talking about my journey is all a part of my healing process with PTSD. I talked about the Boston Marathon a little bit and feel that I have gained strength within myself and I know that by sharing my story I am helping other people.
Being interviewed by Adam and Devon Bate on the Lifestyle Accountability Show was such an awesome opportunity. Thank you Adam and Devon! I can’t wait for The Lifestyle Accountability podcast episode to air so that I can share it with you!!! Please stay tuned for more!
